About the Opportunity
As Manager of Visual Communication, STUDIO, this position is responsible for visual design ideation, and implementation across all regions. Their duties include contributing to creative strategy, supporting the design of multiple projects, and communicating with design consultants while working with and updating internal teams to facilitate efficient and smooth project delivery. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, STUDIO.
Opportunity Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Graphic Design preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of professional marketing/graphic design experience.
  • Advanced InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office knowledge required. After Effects and Premier Pro are a plus.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task with multiple projects and deadlines. Must be flexible and highly motivated, with a willingness to take initiative, be resourceful, and work independently.
  • Ability to firmly guide design consultants and vendors to desired design, budget and schedule goals in a way that encourages and ensures rapid progress but does not hamper their creativity.
  • Strong design skills with a good eye and refined aesthetic sensibilities across all types of medium.
  • Prioritizes functionality, clarity, and brand-specific design needs.
  • Possesses strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills and can interact effectively and professionally with all learning styles and personality types.
  • Proficient in online project management/productivity tools - Asana preferred.

Summary of Responsibilities
Managers are effective contributors, and collaborators. They support the STUDIO team to progress design initiatives. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the design process, development, and production of custom print, digital, and environmental visual communications, including strategic presentations, non-HTML websites, large-scale graphics for marketing suites/leasing experience, temporary signage/window clings, event communications/graphics, environmental wayfinding, and other.
  • Organize and synthesize incoming project requests for wholistic solutions company wide.
  • Create original visual identities from concept to fruition. From mockups, stakeholder presentations, and workshopping through multi-channel solutions and toolkits.
  • Support the STUDIO team to revise and expand existing visual systems and guidelines, adding and updating color palettes and typographical standards, and expanding artistic embellishments when necessary.
  • Support the adoption of standards and procedures related to STUDIO while continuing to seek better design solutions, through technology, tools, and process.
  • Support the STUDIO team to develop new corporate templates and standards for the corporate brand and various asset sub-brands utilized by multiple departments, regions, consultants, and partners.
  • Support actionable, implementable, pragmatic, and creative solutions within workstreams. Maintain a high standard of visual quality control across all projects. Responsibility to maintain project deliverables and flag any issues or concerns which hinder project objectives.
  • Develop a high level of confidence, trust, and credibility with internal and external stakeholders by way of responsiveness, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Work and maintain relationships with vendors and consultants for purpose of receiving most economical and professional solutions.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

The base pay range for this role is between $105,000 and $125,000 and your base pay will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well.
