Overview
Edgewater Federal Solutions is looking for an Audio/Visual Support Technician to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. The candidate shall provide Video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments and provide onsite Auditorium live event support. In addition, the candidate will provide digital media streaming, editing and conversion of AV media files to be included in media online environments for archival and retrieval for later viewing.
Responsibilities
  • Unclassified and Classified Videoconference event scheduling and coordination support
  • Secure Videoconference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.
  • Videoconference and Microsoft Teams system training support
  • Videoconference and presentation systems planning, design and installation for all Classified and Unclassified environments and product lines.
  • Videoconference and AV Systems installation, support and maintenance
  • Set up and breakdown for video streaming events
  • Operate production equipment in large auditorium environment(camera, mic, mixer, etc.)
  • Assist with equipment updates, configuration, and maintenance
  • Set up and breakdown for video streaming events when needed
  • Operate production equipment (camera, mic, mixer, etc.) in various onsite auditoriums
  • Directly interact with customers during live streaming and auditorium events, and large VTC and Teams meetings
  • Work effectively with team members and independently with minimal supervision
  • Secure Videoconference bridge and meeting setup support within the DOE/NNSA Enterprise Secure Network and DoD Secure Network Environments.
  • Cisco and Crestron Videoconference System and Microsoft Teams system installation and training support
  • Support Live Events, Video Production, Recording and Presentation Streaming in both Auditorium and Conference room Environments.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA in relevant discipline plus minimum 1 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance

Required Skills:
  • Ability to set up and configure network connections
  • Proficient in using Distribution Amplifiers (DAs) to split and route signals
  • Skilled in operating computer-based field recording equipment

Hourly Pay Range: $30.61-$46.48
