About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multisite Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of 2–4 Primary Care and Immediate Care clinics in Bethesda, MD area. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee clinical and administrative staff (Front Desk and Medical Assistants).
  • Ensure operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and high-quality care.
  • Partner with the Regional Practice Manager and Regional Medical Director to align day-to-day operations with organizational goals.

This position requires full-time, on-site presence (40+ hours per week) and regular travel between assigned clinics.



Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple clinics.
  • Improve workflows to maximize patient flow and reduce wait times.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with SOPs across all sites.

People & Site Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Conduct staff meetings, huddles, and performance reviews to drive engagement and retention.
  • Serve as the main contact for vendors, IT, and site-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards through audits.
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and corrective actions when needed.

Patient Experience & De-Escalation

  • Act as the point of escalation for patient complaints and billing concerns.
  • Apply conflict-resolution and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe, respectful environment.
  • Train staff on customer service and patient communication best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of healthcare management experience (multi-site Primary Care or Urgent Care strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop teams.
  • Experience handling patient escalations in high-volume settings.
  • Working knowledge of EHR systems (Athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • Driver’s license and ability to travel within a 25-mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Previous clinical experience (CNA, MA, LPN, or RN).
  • Master’s degree in Health Administration or related field.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and KPI monitoring tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Calm and professional under pressure, with strong conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
