About the Team
The Operational Technology Team is evolving from a function historically supporting a relatively uniform, single-organization tech stack of approximately 100 users into a globally coordinated department supporting approximately 500 users across a broad range of regions, time zones, languages, technical maturity levels, and operational practices.
As B Lab consolidates multiple historically independent organizations into a unified operating model through the network transformation, Op Tech is scaling to include regional support coverage and dedicated security ownership, while maintaining centralized governance, platform ownership, and alignment of internal technology initiatives across the network.
About the Opportunity
B Lab is seeking a Regional IT Support Administrator to serve as part of a network-wide Operational Technology team, providing day-to-day end user support to staff. This role shares responsibility with other Regional IT Support Administrators for network-wide technology platforms and general end user support. Within their own region, the Regional IT Support Administrator will own onboarding, offboarding, endpoint device provisioning, and provide hands-on support for physical technology needs such as office/meeting technology. This role will also lead the rollout and adoption of standardized systems, tools, and workflows defined at the network level to staff within their region.
Core Responsibilities
Network-Wide End User Support
  • Serve as part of a shared, network-wide team providing day-to-day technical support to staff across the B Lab network.
  • Maintain and contribute to a shared network-wide knowledge base.

Regional Onboarding, Offboarding, and Endpoint Management
  • Provision and de-provision accounts, hardware, and systems access for staff joining or leaving the organization.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain end user devices for staff within the region, following network-wide standards and security practices.

On-Site and Physical Technology Support
  • Provide hands-on support for physical technology needs within the region, including laptop and hardware troubleshooting (when feasible), device replacement, and servicing of office technology (TVs, printers, conferencing equipment.)
  • Coordinate with vendors or outside repair services for hardware issues within the region when needed.
  • Manage the physical logistics of endpoint provisioning and retrieval for regional staff.

Local Rollout and Adoption of Standardized Systems
  • Lead the regional rollout of new tools, systems, and workflows defined by central Operational Technology leadership.
  • Provide training and support to regional staff on new systems and security practices.
  • Provide feedback to central leadership on regional adoption challenges, or gaps in standardized tooling.
About You
We encourage you to apply if you have:
  • Minimum 2+ work experience in a support/IT administrative role
  • Technical knowledge of and comfort with troubleshooting macOS and Windows
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Jamf, Intune, or similar
  • Comfort providing remote technical support
  • Experience with device provisioning and endpoint management

Additionally, the ideal candidate will:
  • Have a passion for B Lab's mission; using business to solve social and environmental problems
  • Consider themselves a relentless problem solver, with a collaborative style and a systems-thinking approach
  • Be ready to take on growing challenges in a complex, global organization
  • Have a positive outlook, and a consistent and positive manner working with others
  • Have a strong desire to learn, improve and apply
  • Know when to drive a workstream independently
  • Know when to recommend outside resources, and how to advise leadership on technology and security strategy
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity, and implementing best practices to ensure compliance with data and regulatory tech laws

In your application, please note if you have additional experiences, platform competencies or technical skills that you believe to be relevant to your preparedness for this role.
Compensation Details
B Lab has a compensation plan that includes:
  • An annual salary in the range of $85,000 - $102,000 based on experience and skills
  • Excellent health benefits package including access to medical, vision and dental coverage
  • Paid time off for vacation - in your first year, you'll start with 15 days (prorated in a to your start date)
  • Additional paid time off for organizational closures
  • 403(b) with a match of up to 3%
  • Unlimited sick and personal time - if you need it, use it
  • After your first year of employment, 40 hours paid time off for community service; paid parental leave; and time and budget for your professional development (we assess this PD budget annually)
  • A remote-first workplace

About B LabB Labโ„ข is the nonprofit behind Certified B Corporationsโ„ข, a community of businesses that meet verified social, environmental, and governance standards. Together, our movement is working towards a more inclusive, equitable, and fair economic system.
Our historyB Lab began in 2006 with the idea that a different kind of economy was not only possible - it was necessary. Our founders Andrew Kassoy, Bart Houlahan, and Jay Coen Gilbert believed there was a better way to do business: better for workers, better for communities, and better for the planet. When our movement's first 81 Founding B Corps signed the Declaration of Interdependence in 2007, they were not just proposing a better way of doing business. They were proposing a different definition altogether.
What we've achievedB Lab became known for certifying B Corporationsโ„ข, companies that meet verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. But we do much more than that. We help mobilize a global community of businesses committed to collective action on society's most critical challenges. In 2010, B Lab was part of successfully drafting and passing benefit corporation in Maryland, the first U.S. state to do so. This created a legal framework that allows companies to keep their values of care and community, not just shareholder value, at the forefront. Today, benefit corporation legislation is active in 52 jurisdictions around the world.
Our futureIn 2024, leaders from across the network agreed to evolve into a more integrated organization that embodies interdependence. This next iteration of our global network will balance global coherence with local agency to achieve our vision of economic systems change. We are now building this future together.
