Regional BCBA Director Job Description

The Regional BCBA Director is a leadership role responsible for overseeing clinical excellence, operational growth, and BCBA team performance across their assigned region. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who can mentor clinicians, maintain high standards of ABA care, and help grow New Dawn ABA through strong clinical outcomes and community partnerships.

This role includes a 20 billable hour weekly expectation, while balancing leadership responsibilities, mentorship, quality assurance, and regional development.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, collaborative, and passionate about helping both clients and clinicians succeed.

What You’ll DoLeadership & Team Development
  • Mentor, coach, and lead a team of BCBAs and clinical staff across your region.

  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to review performance, client progress, and growth opportunities.

  • Provide ongoing feedback, support, and professional development for clinicians.

  • Conduct overlap supervision and fidelity reviews to ensure high clinical standards.

  • Lead monthly BCBA team meetings and trainings.

Clinical Oversight
  • Ensure the highest quality ABA therapy through effective programming, parent education, and appropriate service recommendations.

  • Review initial assessments, treatment plans, and reassessments for clinical accuracy and authorization readiness.

  • Conduct monthly case reviews to ensure client progress and treatment effectiveness.

  • Review discharges and graduations for appropriateness and readiness.

  • Ensure parent training and supervision requirements are consistently met.

Growth & Regional Development
  • Support regional expansion and growth initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, schools, providers, and community partners.

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new clinical staff.

  • Promote New Dawn ABA’s mission and services throughout the region.

Operational Excellence
  • Monitor team metrics, authorizations, scheduling, retention, and clinical compliance.

  • Ensure payor requirements and documentation standards are consistently met.

  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and regional performance goals.

  • Attend leadership meetings, trainings, and CEU opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing.

  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience managing teams and multiple caseloads.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for mentorship, growth, and clinical excellence.
