POSITION OVERVIEW  

The Branch President is the single point of accountability for the performance, growth, and culture of the Charlotte operation. This role owns the P&L, leads day-to-day business execution, develops talent, and creates the plan to grow revenue, margin, and customer value in the market.

Ideal candidates will have progressive leadership experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or a related field service business, with a demonstrated record of growing performance and leading teams. This role is well suited for an ambitious, hands-on
leader who wants both local ownership and the support of a broader growth platform.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Charlotte business with full responsibility for growth, profitability, and operating performance.
  • Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team across service, projects, sales, and support functions.
  • Develop and execute a clear annual business plan with targets for revenue, margin, customer growth, and operational excellence.
  • Drive accountability through KPIs, dashboards, and regular operating reviews.
  • Partner closely with customers and the commercial team to win new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Ensure strong execution in service delivery, project performance, safety, quality, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate across the FirstCall platform to share best practices and capture scale advantages.
  • Champion a culture of urgency, ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

  • Elite level of customer service to ensure we continue to be the first call our customers make for their HVAC and mechanical services needs

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President and collaborates cross-functionally with other branch leaders and support team members to fulfill position expectations.

  • 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or a related field service environment.
  • Proven track record of growing a branch, region, or business unit while improving profitability.
  • Strong P&L leadership skills, including pricing, margin management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to lead from the front and connect with technicians, managers, and customers.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing strong teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven, growth environment.
  • Solid understanding of commercial HVAC service operations; technical fluency is strongly preferred.
