We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Senior Vice President, Mortgage Administration at our Grand Rapids (Corporate), MI location. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are profoundly detailed, along with focused on helping our customers by meeting their mortgage loan objectives. The Senior Vice President, Mortgage Administration position is a fundamental position at United Bank. You have the important role of developing, recommending, implementing and administering Mortgage Lending Management policies, programs and procedures. Duties include the full range of Mortgage Lending functions, including supervising the lending staff, underwriters, processors and clerks. In addition, this position facilitates contact with all Secondary Market sources, analyzes marking trends and sales history, underwrites all mortgage loans to ensure compliance and supervises all collections of loans serviced and retained. Responsible for all areas of compliance as it relates to the Mortgage Corporation.  

This position requires:

  • Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent;
  • 4 to 10 years related experience and/or training;
  • OR combination of both education and experience;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex document including financial reports and legal documents;
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community;
  • Ability to make effective presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management;
  • Regular sitting;
  • Utilizing hands & arms;
  • Ability to talk & hear.
