Position Overview

The Senior Vice President, Commercial Banker will manage and expand a portfolio of commercial banking relationships while developing new business opportunities throughout the Cincinnati market. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business owners, providing customized lending, treasury management, and deposit solutions.

You'll partner with credit, treasury management, and other internal specialists to deliver exceptional client service while growing both loans and deposits.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new commercial banking relationships through proactive business development. Manage and grow an established portfolio of commercial clients. Structure commercial lending solutions for middle-market and privately held businesses. Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and credit risk. Guide loan opportunities from initial prospecting through underwriting and closing. Partner with Treasury Management to identify deposit and cash management opportunities. Cross-sell additional banking products and services to deepen client relationships. Maintain strong asset quality through ongoing portfolio management. Represent the bank within the local business community through networking and community involvement. Deliver an exceptional client experience while achieving production goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Ten or more years of commercial banking and lending experience. Proven success developing commercial relationships and generating new business. Experience managing a commercial loan portfolio. Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills. Knowledge of commercial lending, treasury management, and deposit products. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Active involvement in the Cincinnati business community is highly desirable.
