Job description

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our HVAC&R projects.
THE ROLE
As a HVAC&R Project Manager, the Associate will assume the responsibility of managing national refrigeration replacement projects for retail clients from inception to completion, to produce jobs that are on time and on budget. The Refrigeration Project Manager produces estimates and generates purchase orders through the provided systems. They choose the vendors to complete the jobs and are responsible for ensuring gross margins are met on each job. The HVAC&R Project Manager is expected to maintain the schedules while providing timely reports up to the Senior Project Manager and/or VP, Projects upon request.

TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organize, implement, orchestrate, measure, analyze, report and complete various project scopes of work on time, on budget and on task. Act as the nucleus of the company to ensure everything is completed per the project scope of work. Act as company spokesperson with the client.
  • Works directly with client as required to determine their needs. Reviews company processes and adapts where necessary to best fit client's needs.
  • Interacts with Service Center staff to ensure client's needs are being met. Performs change management activities. Acting as primary trouble shooter to address and tackle a multitude of various problems as they arise or are requested by the client or various stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years or Project Management experience, strong HVAC and Refrigeration technical experience a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • High attention to detail and careful attention to quality of work (managing multiple project in the pipeline simultaneously and change orders. Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate internal and external resources and/or third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.)
  • Strong relationship and communication skills (work with all levels of management, including franchisees and a variety of stakeholders from different practice groups. Communicate project scope to various levels of stakeholders from field technicians up to Sr management and achieve the same desired result.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel (including ability to filter data).
  • Sense of urgency - able to operate in fast-paced, changing environment while moving multiple priorities forward
