Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented PC Refresh Technician to support a large-scale IT equipment refresh and Windows 11 deployment project. The selected candidate will assist with inventory, imaging, deployment, asset tracking, and decommissioning of desktop and laptop equipment.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in desktop support, PC imaging, hardware setup, and IT asset management. The technician must be reliable, able to follow instructions carefully, and comfortable working in a structured enterprise IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory and organize IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and accessories.

Unbox, stage, and prepare hardware for deployment.

Apply Windows 11 operating system images using SCCM and Intune.

Install required software in a Windows 11 environment.

Update and maintain asset records in ServiceNow.

Deploy end-user devices and accessories as required.

Assist with removal, decommissioning, and organization of old equipment.

Follow published IT standards, procedures, and security requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress clearly.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Basic experience with imaging tools such as SCCM, Intune, or similar deployment tools.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions precisely.

Good communication and time management skills.

Must be able to pass state and national background checks.

Preferred Experience

Prior PC refresh or desktop deployment experience.

Experience with Windows 10/Windows 11 migrations.

Work Environment

Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
