Job description

iT1, a leading national technology solution provider headquartered in Tempe, AZ, is looking for a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer, IT Refresh Migrations to join our team. iT1 has been ranked as one of Arizona's Best Places to Work for over a decade, running in the Small Business category. The Systems Engineer, IT Refresh Migrations is responsible for both internal and external facing responsibilities. In this position, you will be a part of our Field Services team acting as a critical point of contact between iT1 Consulting and the rest of the organization, as well as iT1's customers, network troubleshooting, system administration, among other duties.  You will ensure all assigned tasks are being completed in adherence to iT1 standards. This is a primarily remote position with some travel required. 

Requirements

  • Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software related issues. 
  • Run and support netstation migration scripts. 
  • Intermediate level of network troubleshooting and deployment (Meraki, Cisco, etc.). 
  • Intermediate level of Meraki portal migrations using a scripting tool. 
  • Intermediate level of troubleshooting Windows based systems, i.e., Windows 11 and Windows Server platforms. 
  • Intermediate level of knowledge on printer drivers including workstation, server side and SAP drivers. 
  • Intermediate level of managing DHCP reservations. 
  • Supporting O365 office productivity software i.e., Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc. 
  • Advanced level of active directory management. 
  • Maintain and develop required diagrams, documentation, and procedures of Internal/Client environments. 
  • Update and maintain IT asset management records. 
  • Be a point of escalation for technical support issues. 

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years of network support experience 
  • 3+ years of previous infrastructure support experience 
  • 3+ years of O365 support experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology (preferred) 
  • Established track record in IT technologies (Linux/Windows Servers, Database, Data Center and Client/Server Application Support) 
  • Occasional onsite travel to local Client sites 
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills  
  • Must possess excellent time management skills  
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment based on customer scheduling requirements  
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment with proven multitasking skills and focus on details and accuracy 

PREFERRED SKILLS: 

  • Experience operating in an MSP environment supporting multiple customers (Required) 
  • Microsoft Certifications or experience 
  • Experience with monitoring platforms and tools 
  • Experience with using and/or modifying PowerShell, JSON, RMM systems scripts 
  • Experience with SCCM 
  • Experience with Meraki portal
