About this PositionPC Services Desktop Support Tech I position provides an entry level enterprise computing support position for Primerica. Employee's computer devices (hardware and software) and to support initiatives of the Company.
This is an onsite role, 5 days in the office
Location: Duluth, GA
Salary: $40KResponsibilities & Qualifications
  • Support Primerica Employee's electronic devices- Respond and interact with user's 2nd level Helpdesk calls for Desktop support for hardware and software issues and Primerica's A/V conference rooms (the calls are tracked via Jira Service Management).
  • Deliver and install new hardware and software to corporate users - Build, deliver, install and guide the user on how to use the product and/or products (purchases for computers, monitors, keyboards, etc. ordered through PC Services).
  • Assist facilities department with electronic relocations for employee's work environment - Relocate user's PC, peripherals, and cables from one location to another and ensure functionality for user. Track network connectivity for the endpoint and track the station location on the network per security protocol.
  • Properly Dispose of Primerica End Of Life electronic devices - Follow the process and procedures of PC Services for disposing and organizing the End of Life Primerica electronic assets that are no longer functioning. Assist team mates in palletizing and storing EOL electronic equipment in our receivable room and loading dock.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate effectively both verbal and written,
  • Good knowledge of computers and a desire to learn new products and systems.

Education:

  • Some college or associate's degree in Hardware and Software of computer devices, Business Information Systems, Networking or related fields.
  • Experience:1-3 years of related field work
