Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated IT PC Refresh Technician to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company. This role supports a large-scale PC hardware refresh initiative and ensures seamless deployment and support of IT systems for end users. As a Tekberry W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Build, configure, and deploy new PC hardware and related accessories for end users
• Perform hardware swaps and ensure successful migration of user environments
• Install, configure, and support endpoint software and applications
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and printing issues
• Provide Level 2 technical support to end users in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose, research, and resolve routine IT issues, escalating when appropriate
• Document incidents, requests, and resolutions within the ITSM/ticketing system
• Provide guidance to users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support day-to-day IT operations and assist with system maintenance as needed
• Participate in after-hours support when required for critical issues or deployments
Must-Have Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or technical support roles
• Experience installing and configuring computer systems, hardware, and applications
• Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using ticketing systems or remote support tools (e.g., Bomgar or similar)
• Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
• IT-related coursework or certifications
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or similar
• Experience supporting hardware refresh or deployment projects
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and endpoint management
Work Environment:
• 100% onsite role in Elma, NY
• Fast-paced IT support environment
• Hands-on hardware deployment and end-user interaction
• Occasional after-hours support may be required
