Overview
Job Purpose
The Sales Executive within the Fixed Income and Data Services division owns a defined territory of accounts/territory and is responsible for growing the Pricing and Reference Data business while representing the broader ICE Data business. The Sales Executive will work with new logos and existing accounts to achieve their assigned Sales target/Quota.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and win new business through sales of Evaluated Pricing, Reference Data, Continuous Evaluated Pricing (CEP), Corporate Actions and Connect Multi Asset desktop.
  • Position and sell new products and services including Private Credit Intelligence, Whole Loan valuations and MCP Server data solutions.
  • Deliver our value proposition across the buy and sell side, including Trading, Capital Markets, Research, Risk Management, IPV, Compliance, Security Operations, Fund Accounting.
  • Solicit client feedback for product enhancements to share with Product Management for future enhancement/product launch.
  • Leverage internal AI tools to data mine, prospect and assist with opportunity creation.
  • Propose, negotiate and close contracts.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM to effectively document client activity, pipeline and deal closure.
  • Up to 40% travel required.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of successful sales experience within the financial services industry or supporting financial service clients including banks, brokers, hedge funds, mutual fund companies, insurance companies, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of the financial markets across the buy and sell side - including Trading and Capital Markets, Research, Risk Management, IPV, Compliance, Security Operations, Fund Accounting, etc.
  • Knowledge of global financial markets, financial instruments, and related terminology, especially Credit markets.
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to map product capabilities to specific client workflows.
  • Fluency within the financial data and software eco system, including accounting, order management, execution management and performance reporting.

Base Salary Range for New York
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $85,000 - 135,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
