Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Reference Data Analyst to join our Reference Data and Security Master team. This individual will own the end-to-end setup, enrichment, and maintenance of security and reference data across multiple asset classes, while ensuring data accuracy through validation and reconciliation across key platforms including Eagle, Bloomberg (BBG, AIM, PORT), Charles River (CRD), and Golden Source.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams in a fast-paced, offshored operations environment supporting US-based Front Office, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform end-to-end setup, enrichment, and maintenance of securities and reference data in Eagle and related data management platforms

  • Validate and reconcile data across Bloomberg, CRD, Golden Source, Eagle, and internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Execute and monitor daily data feeds, resolving exceptions and breaks in a timely manner

  • Maintain security master data across multiple asset types, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and funds

  • Partner with Front Office, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and support trade enablement

  • Contribute to data quality initiatives, including automation, process improvements, and standardization efforts

  • Participate in UAT testing, change management, and production validation for system enhancements or platform migrations

  • Maintain thorough process documentation in line with internal data governance and control frameworks

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and support issue analysis and reporting for business users and management

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on Reference Data / Security Master experience - Direct experience in Reference Data, Security Master, or Investment Data Management within asset management, investment banking, or financial services is the foundational requirement for this role.

  • Eagle platform proficiency - Strong working knowledge of Eagle (PACE, STAR, Data Management) is essential, as this is the primary system for security setup and maintenance.

  • Bloomberg & Charles River (CRD) proficiency - Hands-on experience with Bloomberg Terminal, BBG AIM, BBG PORT, and Charles River for data sourcing and validation is critical to daily execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Golden Source or similar Master Data Management (MDM) tools

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and VBA) Intermediate-to-advanced SQL or data query/reporting skills

  • Financial instrument knowledge across asset classes - Solid understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Structured Products underpins the ability to accurately maintain and enrich security data. Prior experience supporting middle office or front office functions. Understanding of the trade lifecycle and the role of reference data within it

  • Analytical & data reconciliation skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation capabilities are essential for identifying and resolving data discrepancies across multiple systems

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2026-08-14Base Pay Range: $116,000/yr - $188,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
