FactSet's Market Data Group is at the forefront of delivering high-quality, low-latency market pricing and reference data to support critical functions across the global financial industry. Our data powers trading, risk, portfolio management, analytics, and regulatory processes-spanning real-time and delayed pricing, standardized symbology, and reference datasets across global asset classes. By integrating robust feeds with consistent identifiers, we enable client to accurately price securities, link data across their systems, and maintain reliable operational workflows in front, middle, and back-office environments.

What You'll Do

As a Manager within the Market Data Group, you will play a vital role in building and administering FactSet's cross-asset master database for exchange-listed pricing and security reference data-including core attributes and corporate actions. You will drive scalable frameworks and governance models to ensure precise security identifiers, pricing and corporate actions coverage across equities, fixed income, funds, indices, and derivatives. Collaborating with engineering, product, market data, and operations teams, you will enable FactSet solutions to deliver accurate, consistent, and actionable information to clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help architect, develop, and operate FactSet's next-generation pricing and security reference database, aligning real-time identifiers and symbology with core reference data and corporate actions.
  • Shape and refine data models, development frameworks, and operational processes to support broad asset class coverage-equities, fixed income, funds, and derivatives.
  • Foster partnership across engineering, product, market data, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and consistency between real-time pricing, security identifiers, and reference data.
  • Advance FactSet's data governance standards, quality controls, and scalability as new asset classes, venues, and symbology are introduced.
  • Balance strategic design initiatives with hands-on execution-supporting both our day-to-day operations and long-term data platform evolution.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years working with financial instrument reference data, security identifiers, market data, and symbology-especially in exchange-listed environments.
  • Deep understanding of cross-asset security modeling and integration of real-time market data within reference data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and market structure concepts into practical frameworks and operational workflows.
  • Proven record of collaboration across technical and business teams-ideally in a data-intensive or financial technology environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, data ownership, and operational rigor.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, andcertifications.

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $102,000-$128,000.
