Discover how transformative growth accelerates impact.
Meet the Team
The Operations & Middle Office department is one of the largest groups at Millennium. Within the department, the Data Operations team sits in the Control function and is responsible for overseeing the firm's Global Security Master through a range of data quality measures. • Partner with internal front, middle and back-office stakeholders, as well as external data vendors, to resolve ad hoc issues in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Development to define requirements and support the design and rollout of new processes, workflows and controls
  • Help evaluate and implement new vendors and products within the Bank Debt and Leveraged Loan space to enhance operational capabilities
  • Oversee key bank loan lifecycle events, including paydowns, drawdowns, interest rate resets, PIK interest calculations, delayed compensation accruals and calculations, and trade settlements, ensuring timely and accurate Security Master updates
  • Support the operational servicing, pricing accuracy and risk management of these assets while maintaining the integrity of the firm's reference data

What You Bring
  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial services, ideally within operations at a broker-dealer or asset management firm, with experience in Security Master and reference data
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, particularly Bank Debt, Leveraged Loans, Private Debt and other less liquid credit instruments
  • Experience working with Bloomberg, as well as platforms and vendors such as Refinitiv, Wall Street Office, ClearPar, Markit (S&P Global), ICE and similar data providers
  • Ability to implement and maintain systems, procedures and controls that support scalable, well-governed operations
  • Working knowledge of SQL queries and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate effectively in a team-based environment
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with strong ownership and a focus on continuous improvement
