What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A reefer driver, or refrigerated truck driver, can earn around $10,000 a month with experience and proper licensing, especially in long-haul routes. These jobs typically require a commercial driver's license (CDL), knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to operate refrigerated trucks in various environments.

What company in Texas is paying truckers $14000 a week?

Reefer truck drivers can earn high weekly pay through specialized freight hauling, often involving long hours and extended routes. While some companies advertise high earnings, actual pay varies based on experience, load type, and market conditions, with top drivers potentially earning significant weekly income through bonuses and incentives.

What is a Reefer job?

A Reefer job typically refers to driving refrigerated trucks or trailers, which transport perishable goods like food and pharmaceuticals. Reefer drivers must monitor and maintain proper temperature settings to ensure cargo remains fresh during transit. These jobs often involve long-haul or regional routes and require special attention to compliance with food safety regulations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Reefer position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Reefer Technician (Refrigerated Transport Technician), a strong background in mechanical repair, refrigeration systems, and electrical troubleshooting is essential, typically supported by vocational training or relevant certifications. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, HVAC systems, EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification, and computerized maintenance management systems is often required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are valuable soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure that refrigerated transport equipment operates safely and reliably, minimizing downtime and maintaining the integrity of temperature-sensitive cargo.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Reefers, or refrigerated truck drivers, typically do not earn $2000 a day; their pay depends on experience, routes, and company policies. High-paying jobs that can reach this level include specialized roles such as executive positions, certain consulting or investment roles, and some high-level sales jobs, but these are not related to reefer driving. Most daily earnings at this level are associated with senior or highly specialized professions requiring significant expertise and credentials.
