Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a full service truck body shop
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators
  • Foster good working relationship with other department managers.
  • Technician recruitment and hiring
  • Technician retainment and career development
  • Manage technicians on the floor to ensure quality and maximize efficiencies
  • Schedule work flow and throughput in the shop
  • All required federal, state, local, and industry compliance
  • Customer and insurance estimating

Required Experience and Skills

  • Truck or car body shop technical knowledge.
  • Experience with technician development and management.
  • Display ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including the entire Microsoft suite of products and the ability to learn the company IB software system.
