Position Summary
This is a paid internship (up to 30 hours/week) where youโ€™ll gain real-world experience in nonprofit marketing and communications. Youโ€™ll help share inspiring stories, promote events, and grow our online presence โ€” all while supporting a mission that changes lives.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and schedule social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
  • Help update website content and event pages
  • Draft stories and updates for internal newsletters and staff communications
  • Collaborate with our media relations team
  • Assist with marketing and logistics for community and fundraising events
  • Support design and photo/video projects (Canva or Adobe skills a plus!)
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
  • Current student or recent college grad. Coursework in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, English, or a related field encouraged but not required.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
  • Passion for community impact and the mission of Easterseals Redwood
