About Us


Royal is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on an extensive construction program with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The assignment will last one year (base) and two optional years.


Your Role and Responsibilities


  • Monitor work progress through daily field inspections and verify that the work is installed in accordance with the accepted plans, specifications, and sound engineering and construction practices.
  • Review and provide written comments on construction contractor submittals, including technical submittals, materials lists, O&M manuals, test procedures, commissioning plans, etc.
  • Participate in and provide technical advice in construction planning review conferences.
  • Provide technical interpretations of plans and specifications and provide a determination on whether the methods and materials employed meet the requirements of the contract.
  • Provide information on the construction contractor's daily activities and assist in producing the Government's Daily Quality Assurance Reports.
  • Provide oversight of the construction contractor's Quality Control program to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
  • Include an evaluation of the level of inspection, testing procedures, results, documentation of deficiency correction, etc., per the USACE 3-Phase inspection program.
  • Participate in start-up tests, demonstrations, field instructions, and commissioning activities with the appropriate personnel.


The Criteria for Joining Our Team


  • A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten years of engineering experience in construction management.

  • Large complex multimillion-dollar construction projects
  • DoD experience
  • Corps of Engineers experience with Resident Management System (RMS)
  • Microsoft Office proficient
