Kleinfelder is looking for a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Program Manager to join our southeast engineering team. With expanding opportunities in the region and a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development, solar, and/or mining is especially relevant.

This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:

  • Tampa, FL
  • Orlando (Mount Dora), FL
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Raleigh, NC
  • Atlanta, GA

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ability to target and generate new opportunities
  • Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality
  • Overseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges
  • Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value
  • Nurturing and growing client relationships
  • Supporting the achievement of professional staffs' career goals

Education/Certification:

  • Required, Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Required, Professional Engineer (PE)

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction as a consultant
  • Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships
  • Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Understanding of financial management of projects
  • 12+ years of related experience, including 6+ years of project management experience
