Our client is looking for a Technical Program Manager - Google Cloud (GCP) Foundations project in Charlotte,NC below is the detailed requirement.
Position: Technical Program Manager - Google Cloud (GCP) Foundations
Location: Charlotte,NC
Job description:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience
  • Must have a Cloud Program Management Expertise: 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT programs, with at least 3+ years specifically dedicated to enterprise cloud migrations or cloud foundation/landing zone rollouts (GCP experience highly preferred; AWS/Azure considered).
  • You should have a Technical Depth: A strong technical background (e.g., former engineer, architect, or deeply technical analyst) with a solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, DevSecOps, IaC (Terraform), Kubernetes, and enterprise networking. You must be able to follow and contribute to architecture-level debates.
  • Good Experience and Demonstrated ability to negotiate, handle conflict, and successfully push back on senior client stakeholders without damaging the relationship.
  • Good to have a Financial Services Acumen: Prior experience driving technology programs within regulated environments (Insurance) is highly preferred due to the stringent compliance and security requirements of the foundations build.
  • Must be a Flawless Organization: Mastery of Agile/Scrum methodologies, program tracking tools (Jira, Confluence), and dependency mapping in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe).
  • You should have Program Governance & Execution: Own the overarching delivery roadmap for the GCP Foundations onboarding. Track complex technical dependencies, manage risks, and ensure milestones are met across multiple workstreams (Landing Zones, Security, Identity, Networking).
  • Must have a Technical Client Interfacing: Serve as the primary point of contact for a highly technical client. Facilitate deep-dive technical discussions, translate complex engineering roadmaps into executive-level status, and maintain absolute credibility with client architects and engineers.
  • You should have Actively manage scope creep. Leverage your technical understanding to evaluate client requests, identify unrealistic timelines or architectural antipatterns, and confidently negotiate alternative paths forward to keep the project on track.
  • Must have a Team Leadership & Influence: Orchestrate and empower a high-performing GCP Architects and Cloud Engineers. Clear blockers, align daily tasks to the broader program strategy, and ensure the team is insulated from shifting client noise.
  • Good Experience for a Stakeholder Management: Align disparate client stakeholders (Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Business Units) around a unified cloud foundation blueprint. Elevate project visibility through crisp, data-driven reporting to both Client and client executive leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
