Operations Manager
CONDITIONS
Position Overview
About the position: Select's Operations Manager manages daily activities in the organization's operations function.
Essential Functions
  • Meets with customer representative to go over job timing, job requirements, equipment requirements, equipment placement and setup using safety standards and/or special concerns.
  • Ensures that operations meets all standards and practices including PPE, safe work zones, hot work permits, LEL compliance, static bonding and grounding, data transfer, customer communication, etc)
  • Works with Safety and Training coordinator to update compliance issues and safe standards for training purposes.
  • Implements and supports future equipment needs, operational needs and field personnel needs present monthly report on operational status and needs of.
  • Develops and implements strategies meant to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.

Work Experience
  • 6+ years of related work experience, including some previous management experience required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
  • Reports to VP, Operations.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and, like all roles within our organization, requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and this role may be subject to regular safety training and assessments.
