Job description

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG - the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.
We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.
If you want your work on shelves everywhere - and outsized ownership while you build - we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
We're looking for a People Operations Manager to own the execution layer of our People function as we scale.
The systems, templates, and processes are already built. Your job is to run them exceptionally well and improve as we scale - making sure every candidate and new hire has a seamless experience from signed offer through onboarding and beyond.
You'll work closely with the recruiting and leadership teams and report directly to our Talent lead, with significant ownership and autonomy.
What You'll Own
  • Offer Paperwork: Own offer letters, DocuSign, offer decks, and offer-related coordination
  • Onboarding: Run the end-to-end new hire onboarding process through Rippling and Ashby
  • New hire coordination: Coordinate calendars, onboarding logistics, and first-day (and month) experiences
  • Immigration: Run visa processes and coordination through Concord, working with employees and immigration counsel
  • People Operations: Keep employee records, workflows, and People processes running smoothly
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve our existing People Ops infrastructure
  • Performance management: Eventually take ownership of performance management processes, including reviews, cycles, and manager enablement

You'll have the support and oversight of the Talent lead, but we're looking for someone who can own the details without needing to be managed through every step.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-6 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Recruiting Operations, or a similar role
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented - you naturally stay ahead of deadlines and moving pieces
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable owning sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion
  • Experience with HRIS and recruiting tools; Rippling and Ashby experience is a plus
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities move quickly
  • A strong executor who enjoys building on existing systems rather than starting from scratch
  • High judgment, responsiveness, and a strong bias toward getting things done
Why This Role
This is a high-leverage role at a company scaling quickly. You'll inherit a strong foundation of systems and processes and have the opportunity to become the owner of the employee experience after the recruiting process ends.
As we continue to grow, this role can expand significantly across People Operations, performance management, and broader People infrastructure.
Stack: Rippling, Ashby Onboarding, Concord (Visas), Notion, Slack, Claude
Perks + Benefits
  • Equity - own a meaningful piece of the company you're helping build
  • Fully paid health coverage through Aetna - we cover 100% of employee premiums
  • Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian
  • Carrot Fertility Pro - comprehensive fertility and family-forming support
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Unlimited PTO - plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take
  • 401(k) through Vestwell
  • Paid relocation support - we'll help you make the move to NYC
  • Fully equipped workspace from day one - laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup
  • Team perks - catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with
