Responsibilities

MV Transportation is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to assist with our recruitment efforts inits Baltimore, MD LOCATION. The position iof on-site Recruiting Coordinator for MV Transportation, Inc. is responsible for supporting all aspects of the recruitment and preemployment process. The Recruiting Coordinator ensures all candidates and new hires complete required qualifications prior to beginning work and serves as a primary point of contact for applicants, recruiters, and division leadership. 

Essential Duties/Job Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as frontline contact for applicants and divisional personnel to collect and verify required preemployment documentation.
  • Review new hire qualification packets to ensure compliance with DOT, company, and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor background checks, physicals, and drug screens and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.

  • Maintain and update applicant records in applicant tracking and HR systems.

  • Communicate daily and weekly applicant status reports to Division Management and the Regional Recruiter.

  • Assist with onboarding activities, orientation preparation, and training class scheduling.

  • Support candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing as needed.

  • Attend job fairs, community outreach events, and organization visits representing MV Transportation as needed.

  • Generate recruiting reports and track hiring metrics.

  • Responsible for making 50-100 calls per day. 
  • Scheduled training classes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Paid in 1st week of second month following the quarter.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Prior HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
