Your Mission: As a Recruitment Assistant at Rock Creek Foundation, you'll be at the heart of our mission to attract and hire talented individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Recruitment Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role offers hands-on experience in sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking systems, supporting onboarding activities, and participating in employer branding initiatives. What You'll Do:

  • Assist with posting job openings on recruitment platforms and organizational career pages.
  • Review resumes and applications for minimum qualifications.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach via email and phone.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including virtual meeting links and interview rooms.
  • Track candidate progress throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for applicants.
  • Respond to applicant inquiries regarding the recruitment process.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout each stage of recruitment.
  • Assist with preparing offer packets and new hire documentation.
  • Support employment verification and background screening processes.
  • Assist with reference checks as assigned.
  • Maintain recruitment reports and hiring metrics.
  • Prepare interview packets and hiring documentation.
  • Help organize recruitment files in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in promoting career opportunities through social media and other recruitment channels.

  • Assist with orientation logistics and new hire welcome packets.
  • Ensure all required pre-employment documentation has been received.
  • Support new hire follow-up during onboarding.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing HR documents.
  • Participate in HR meetings, projects, and special assignments.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 3 points and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in any people facing role.
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
