FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. This is a remote position to support hotels in the East region. Preferred candidates will be located in, or willing to work EST hours.

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiting Manager drives talent acquisition strategies that support Marriott's business objectives. This role leads the full recruitment lifecycle for property management positions, building strong partnerships with hiring leaders and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing through hire.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
  • BA/BS degree and 4+ years' professional experience OR 8+ years' professional experience
  • Knowledge of recruiting, labor market trends, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform recruiting and sourcing strategies
  • Experience negotiating employment offers and managing candidate expectations throughout the hiring process

Preferred
Recruiting experience in an agency/search firm or highly matrixed business environment
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to Hiring Managers and HR partners, leveraging market intelligence, talent mapping, compensation insights, and recruiting metrics to inform hiring decisions
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with Talent Sourcing Specialists to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to align on talent needs, candidate profiles, referral opportunities, and interview strategies
  • Screen, assess, and identify qualified candidates through resume reviews, phone interviews, and candidate evaluations
  • Manage and coordinate the interview process to ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Facilitate the offer process in partnership with recruiting coordinators, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Build trusted relationships with candidates, Hiring Managers, and HR partners throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Champion Marriott's employer brand by promoting our culture, values, and career opportunities to prospective talent
  • Partner with the sourcing team to develop creative recruiting strategies and proactively build a robust pipeline of A+ talent at all levels through research, social media, cold calls, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns to accomplish hiring goals
  • Partner with the hiring manager prior to activating posting to identify known candidates, encourage referrals, and align further on need + interview strategy
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Manage the offer creation process in partnership with coordinator team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience
