Intermediate Talent Acquisition Consultant - Nurse Recruitment

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Talent Acquisition team in the role of Consultant - Talent Acquisition Intermediate.
The Talent Acquisition Consultant - Intermediate serves as a strategic partner to the Nursing Recruitment Team, managing the full life cycle recruitment process for our nursing departments. In this full-time, day-shift role, you will operate in a hybrid capacity from Monday through Friday, with on-site presence required at our downtown Indianapolis office as needed to support hiring initiatives. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive intake conversations with hiring leaders, designing and posting positions, and executing advanced sourcing strategies to identify both active and passive talent. By managing the end-to-end process-from initial screening and interview coordination to candidate selection and pre-hire preparation-you will ensure a seamless experience for every new hire through their first day of employment.
Beyond standard recruitment tasks, you will apply total rewards strategies to develop market-competitive compensation packages that align with candidate expertise and organizational expectations. As a consultant to leadership, you will provide workforce planning analysis to ensure the right strategies are in place to secure top-tier talent. You will also lead special projects as requested, focusing on sophisticated sourcing techniques and project management to meet the evolving needs of the nursing team. Through diligent consultation and market analysis, you will guide leaders in selecting the best talent while maintaining high standards for the candidate experience and offer process.
Key Relationships
Reports to: Manager - Talent Acquisition
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Requires knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
  • Requires a knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Requires knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Requires demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience within a matrixed organization; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Nurse recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Requires experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
