Job description

Print Production Assistant

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to support a fast-paced production team? We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow their bindery and finishing skills with a strong team at a growing company.

About the Role

You'll assist with the operation and maintenance of our binding and finishing equipment—perfect binders, saddle stitchers, folders, cutters, laminators, and more. This is hands-on work where you'll help ensure every job is completed accurately, on time, and to specification. We work hard and move fast, and we're a collaborative team that takes pride in quality and serving our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with operation of perfect binders, saddle stitchers, coil/comb binders, folders, and guillotines
  • Perform die cutting, laminating, and other finishing work
  • Operate paper drills, scorers, and perforators as needed
  • Verify all jobs meet client specifications and quality standards
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues to the production manager
  • Keep detailed production records
  • Assist with quality control checks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and adhere to all safety protocols

What You Bring
