WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE

This is an on-campus, office-based role within the Registrar’s Office that will work 32 hours a week. Work is primarily sedentary, involving extended periods of sitting, computer use, and communication via phone and email. Standard business hours apply, with occasional support required for events such as commencement.


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Student Records Assistant supports the daily operations of the Registrar’s Office by maintaining accurate student records, assisting with records processing, and providing frontline service to students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide customer service to students, alumni, faculty, and staff in person, by phone, and online
  • Process transcript requests, enrollment verifications, and other student record requests accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and manage official student files in accordance with record retention policies
  • Assist with administration of the Student Information System (SIS) and related enrollment and registration processes
  • Monitor and assist with student activity in learning management systems
  • Support academic progress tracking and processes such as Incomplete and In Progress statuses
  • Assist in graduation processing, including degree audits and commencement coordination
  • Provide administrative support such as managing shared inbox communications and assisting with classroom scheduling
