Position Title: Recording Specialist. Classification : Non-Exempt /Full-Time Location: St. PaulPayrate: $18 - $20/Hour "Indecomm is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer" Job Description: The Recording Specialist needs to be able to review recordable mortgage closing and title documents to ensure they comply with county requirements and send to county recorder to be placed on land records.Having a basic understanding of mortgage closing transactions and documents such as mortgage, deed, subordinations, and assignments

Responsibilities: - Proofread and audit recordable documents to be sent to county recorder- Perform handling and processes for any mortgage related documents; assignments, Deed of Trust, Warranty/Quit Claim Deeds, releases, affidavits, etc.- Process recording fees by understanding related mortgage documents- Process mortgage documents to include rejections and resubmissions- Proof incoming documents, and anticipate any issues regarding implementation of process changes (i.e., hardcopy or electronic)- Assist the eRecording team with daily operations (binning, printing, stapling, etc.).- Occasionally assist the eRecord and offshore teams by processing Level I and II Electronic Recording/E-Filing.- Work closely with the Recording team to pull urgent document requests as needed and assigned.
