Overview
The Global Intercompany Reconciliation Specialist will provide accounting support related to all aspects of the company's global intercompany and domestic intracompany accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. This includes liaising with AIT's foreign and domestic entities, resolving billing disputes, preforming account statement reconciliations, assist with the collection of funds from national and foreign subsidiaries, and processing net settlements between AIT offices and any other duties and responsibilities related to intercompany transactions
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the global reconciliations for Cargowise and Non-Cargowise AIT subsidiaries, and both collect funds from, and process payments to these subsidiaries based on reconciled net settlements, on a cash need basis.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations between the corporate ledgers and intercompany/intracompany accounts to ensure that all ledgers are up to date and clear of any queries.
  • Coordinate with AIT partners to resolve any intercompany or intracompany billing discrepancies and disputes and liaising with AIT partners to resolve.
  • Align and forecast account replenishments for AIT foreign subsidiaries based on requested cash needs, working closely with the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Monitor the global dashboard for legacy/non Cargowise AIT subsidiaries as established by the Accounting Supervisor. companies purchased by AIT, and work to clear out legacy account balances via payments or collections.
  • Monitor the profiles of intercompany/intracompany accounts in Cargowise and assists with maintaining the integrity of each profile in other foreign offices' CargoWise systems based on prerequisites established by the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Correspond with internal and external auditors on balance confirmation requests and any audit inquiries. Also, support AIT partners with any audit inquiries or requests.
  • Monitor group outlook email inbox and respond to any issues that arise.
