The Receptionist is a brand ambassador of the Global Security Operations team who warmly welcomes everyone who comes into Fidelity's offices and efficiently guides them through the visitor arrival process while maintaining security protocols.
The Expertise We are Looking For / The Expertise You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent life/work experience (i.e. hospitality service industry preferred)
  • 1-3 years prior hospitality experience in a customer- oriented environment or security field
  • Ability to perform under stressful conditions

Responsibilities/The Value You Deliver:
  • As the first line of security, greet visitors and associates with enthusiasm and attentiveness
  • Determine visitor needs in a professional and friendly manner
  • Registration of all visitors using the visitor management system and issuing visitor passes
  • Control building access and check-in procedure
  • Directing visitors to accurate locations
  • Monitor visitors and guests as they wait in the lobby
  • Be aware of and report any suspicious behavior or unattended objects in the visitor waiting area to the security team
  • Maintain security by following procedures and maintaining security awareness
  • Report incidents and possible hazards to appropriate parties
  • Maintain diligent posture while multitasking efficiently
  • Communicate verbally with confidence and clarity and listen actively
  • Use life safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, and radios as needed
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR, or the ability to acquire such knowledge through training
