Mission

The Warren Center advocates, serves and empowers the children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities.


Summary

The Data and Referral Coordinator supports the overall mission and purpose of The Warren Center by effectively providing accurate collection, maintenance and management of client information for The Warren Center programs. Additionally, the position provides day-to-day agency business support by handling general office calls, mail, and reception duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reception Practices

  • Answer, screen & forward incoming calls appropriately
  • Intra-office communication
  • Take referrals
  • Explain intake process
  • Greeting visitors as appropriate
  • Take patient payments

Program Data Entry and Management

  • Enter data, process referrals/transfers/dismissals, provide appropriate documentation in files, etc.
  • Maintain organized records in a confidential manner including filing as requested

Referral Coordination

  • Enter referral information from referrals into agency database for Clinic and other programs as needed
  • Prepare referral packet and distribute for Clinic and other programs
  • Complete office Intake process and enter data into agency database
  • Provide documentation in electronic files, as required for Clinic
  • Act as coordinator between parents, billing and clinic staff to ensure timely therapy services

Education and Experience

  • Required: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
  • Required: Experience in customer service and reception practices
  • Required: Experience in computer data systems and computer applications
  • Required: Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
