Daikin Applied is seeking a Service and Solutions Account Manager. You will have the ability to be a technical sales expert developing and maintaining direct owner relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and serving as an advisor on products & solutions based on client's needs. Location: Davie, FL - Hybrid
Your Responsibilities:
  • Work in assigned territory, partnering closely with Direct Owners, Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and Technicians
  • Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concerns
  • Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products
  • Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans
  • Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI)
  • Plan, organize, and guide projects through to completion; involves internal and external subject matter experts as needed
  • Work with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, highly customizable products/solutions to clients

Your Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus HVAC certification and 5 years HVAC field service experience or bachelor's degree
  • 2-4+ years of related sales experience
  • Experience in commercial HVAC solutions, energy sales, and/or controls (strongly preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to travel territory daily
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market
  • Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software (preferred)
  • Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $117,200 plus a sales incentive plan in Florida. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
