We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager with a strong focus on IT-related purchasing. This role is responsible for assisting with the sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, and IT professional services. The ideal candidate has experience working closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and vendors to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely acquisition of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
About The Role:
IT Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT hardware (laptops, servers, networking equipment), software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, and IT consulting services.
  • Evaluate vendors, conduct RFQs/RFPs, and negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain preferred vendor lists and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor vendor performance, renewals, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Contract & License Management
  • Review, coordinate, and track IT contracts in partnership with Legal and Finance.
  • Maintain software license inventories and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Track subscription renewals and proactively manage true-ups and renewals to avoid service interruptions.
  • Support audits related to software licensing and IT asset management.

Purchase Order & Financial Coordination
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Ensure accurate cost coding and budget alignment.
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors.
  • Track IT spend and provide reporting on budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization opportunities.

Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies specific to IT purchases.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, volume discounts, and contract optimization.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of procurement systems and tools.

Qualifications
About You:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, with significant exposure to IT purchasing.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services (hardware lifecycle, SaaS models, cloud consumption-based pricing).
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems.
  • Experience managing enterprise agreements with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Amazon Web Services, or Oracle.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable improvements.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability and openness to new ideas and technologies.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management (ITAM) and software asset management (SAM) best practices a plus
