Job description

Position Overview
The International Procurement group is seeking a Purchasing Program Manager to join their team!
The Purchasing Program Manager will be responsible for providing procurement and supplier quality program management support for new product development and implementation programs serving as the procurement and supplier quality point of contact for cross-functional program teams, driving completion of procurement and supplier quality deliverables to support on-time program execution, ensuring supplier readiness and quality expectations are met through build events and launch and aligning internal stakeholders on requirements, timing, and actions.
This is a highly visible, challenging, and rewarding position in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Program Execution
  • Manage procurement and supplier quality deliverables across program phases (sourcing, tooling, part readiness, builds, and launch) to meet quality, cost, and timing targets.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the Procurement/Supplier Quality representative; facilitate and drive alignment discussions across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and Finance.

Program Governance & Communications
  • Relay program information to the Procurement organization and deliver decision-focused status/risk updates for program reviews and leadership forums.

Deliverable Closure
  • Confirm gate readiness (parts, tools, and supplier status); and drive procurement/supplier quality deliverables to closure prior to builds and launch.

Budget Management
  • Manage supplier capital and piece-cost budgets, including tracking targets and reporting of variances through Change Control meetings.

Sourcing and Quoting
  • Coordinate with the sourcing team to ensure RFQs, quotes, and supplier nominations are completed on time and aligned to target cost, tooling, and part readiness plans.

Risk & Change Management
  • Identify and mitigate procurement/supplier risks; manage changes; and drive internal stakeholders to timely issue resolution.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

OR
  • Master's degree and no experience

OR
  • At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
