V2X is hiring for an Expeditionary Readiness Manager for the Landover, MD location. The position is required to be onsite due to the classifed nature of the program.
This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Responsibilities
  • What You'll Do:
  • Expeditionary Readiness Manager (EXRM) serves as the subject matter expert responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the Other Defense Agency global readiness program. The EXRM is responsible for preparing and processing mission readiness of personnel identified and task to deploy globally or serve on temporary duty (TDY) assignments in accordance with U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD), Combatant Command (CCMD), and any other applicable guidance.
  • Additional EXRM responsibilities include, but not limited to managing the redeployment and reintegration (RDI) phase of deployments and TDYs encompassing scheduling personnel post-deployment psychological, dental, and medical (including immunizations) clearance appointments; ensuring personnel account for and return weapons, ammunition, organizational clothing, individual equipment, and deployment common access cards (CACs); drafting deployment or TDY orders; and completing including submit travel vouchers settlement processing.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute all pre-deployment activities to ensure all required actions have been properly completed prior to permitting personnel to deploy.
  • Manage multiple pre- and post-deployment activities involving numerous personnel at one time.
  • Monitor, maintain, and track including update Client mission readiness and deployment requirements.
  • Track personnel or staff pre-deployment/post-deployment/redeployment-integration (RDI), mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, dental, immunization, and weapons qualification requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain potential deployee online contact list.
  • Update personnel mission readiness training tracker
  • Coordinate with and schedule all deployment training.
  • Provides technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding Directorate mission readiness program.
  • Gathering information and review processes pertaining to DoD mission operations
  • Prioritize tasks, manage competing requirements, and coordinate with senior military and defense leadership in performing tasks essential to executing the client's mission.
  • Recommend operational improvements and standard methodologies that increases mission success.
  • Verify personnel have successfully completed all deployment requirements including at minimum, weapons qualification/familiarization; received all required clothing and equipment, including NBC equipment training; have required identification cards, passports, visas; contractors have the required Synchronized Pre-deployment & Operational Tracker (SPOT) Letters of Authorization from their parent company; have required orders assigning them to the mission; required security clearances; proper medical screening has been completed indicating the person is fit to deploy; the person has received and passed all required training courses; and other requirements which may be levied during deployment preparation.
  • Coordinate with deployable personnel throughout the pre- and post-deployment process to ensure all deployment requirements are completed. Schedule training, medical, and pick up of deployment gear to meet personnel deployment deadlines. Ensure continuity and standardization throughout each process.
  • Prepare, coordinate, update and manage comprehensive pre-and post-deployment checklists, ensuring the most current requirements are listed. In conjunction with these checklists, define specific requirements for all players to quickly and effectively support rapid deployment requirements.
  • Provide assistance in interpreting government worldwide travel requirements IAW the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, and assist unit members in defining and completing mission-specific travel requirements, such as foreign travel requires, special/theater/country clearance requests, acquire necessary travel Visas, inoculations, passing of security clearances etc.
  • Maintain a comprehensive deployment database or spreadsheet, outlining personnel deployment status, and training readiness.
  • Conduct pre-deployment briefing and post-deployment debriefings to ensure continuity and a current and valid deployment process, start to finish.
  • Perform a full range of administrative support services.
  • Monitor operational and administrative issues.
  • Recognize situational awareness indicators and executing judgment of potential impact on mission operations.
  • Develop clear and concise written products that require minimal revision.
  • Facilitate emergency communications.
  • Work proficiently in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in any field; high school vocational school, or trade school diploma, or a GED equivalent and five (5) years' work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Experience:
    • Five (5) plus years of U.S. Military, Intelligence Community (IC), or Other DoD Agency (ODA) experience.
    • A minimum of 5 years of USAF Unit Deployment Manager (UDM), U.S. Army Unit Movement Officer (UMO) or equivalent.
  • Certifications:
    • Must have Valid U.S. Driver's and be able to obtain an International Driver's License
    • Must have a valid U.S. Passport
    • Be able to acquire and meet US Central Command Medical Screening qualifications, if Client directed
  • Travel:
    • Five percent travel or more as Client directed
  • Clearance:
    • Must have a current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
    • Be eligible for personnel clearance crossover.
  • Knowledge:
    • IC, DoD, ODA, CCMD, and Federal Government organizational structure
    • IC, DoD, ODA, and Federal Government regulations and standards.
    • The Defense Travel System
    • Interagency Concepts and principles, DoD military command and control operations, geographical areas of responsibility as pertains to the geographical Combatant Commands, air, land, and maritime combat operations at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Staff planning, execution, and monitoring of Joint military operations at the operational through strategic levels.
    • Know and understand the interactions between various agencies to ensure all actions are completed for deployment and redeployment actions
  • Skills:
    • Written and oral communication skills, especially ability to brief senior officials.
    • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to manage time and priorities.
    • Strong leadership, project management, team building and presentation skills.
    • Operate the Defense Travel System.
    • Exhibit broad background in the logistics arena as well as the personnel side of Client's mission, and understand the various deployment requirements applied to civilian, contractors and military personnel alike.
    • Exercise a very high degree of skill and discretion in resolving very complex or sensitive pre-deployment problems, and recommend on the spot improvements to make the deployment process more efficient.
    • Brief Client senior leadership on operational matters.
    • Prioritize, and problem solve effectively.
    • Manage, review and analyze quality reports.
    • Remain alert at all times.
    • Manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple tasks independently, successively, or simultaneously.
    • Mentor junior staff.
    • Think critically and outside the box.
    • Develop concepts of operation, create process flow diagrams, author standard operating procedures, and develop program plans encompassing assumptions, limitations, interfaces, responsibilities, and specific requirements of the program elements.
  • Teamwork:
    • Work well in team environments including demonstrate the ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
    • Develop and build relationships with staff officers, colleagues, contemporaries, and counterparts within parent organization as well as with external organizations facilitating the coordination of various ODA Client directed projects, and tasks.
