RE-DISCLOSURE SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Re- Disclosure Specialist
Reports to: Compliance Manager
Status: Regular, Full
Pay Grade: Hourly (DOE)
Department: Re-Disclosure
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Title Grade: Entry or Junior
Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm Hybrid
Location: Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Compensation: $18.00 per hour

SUMMARY amp; PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Re-Disclosure Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring all required federal and state- specific disclosures are correctly prepared and provided to the appropriate party within mandated timeframes and in compliance with all internal and external guidelines and policies.

PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

๏ƒ˜ Monitor the Re-Disclosure Queue which includes but is not limited to the following pipelines: โ€œRedisclosure Deskโ€”Redisclosure Pendingโ€ and โ€œRedisclosure Deskโ€”TBD Loansโ€;
๏ƒ˜ Determine if loans in Redisclosure Deskโ€”Redisclosure Pending queue present an acceptable changed circumstance (within 3 day TRID timeframe) and/or if re-disclosure is required;
๏ƒ˜ Communicate the need for re-disclosure to all parties requiring notification (Loan Officer and Loan Processor) through internal ticketing system - Zendesk;
๏ƒ˜ Monitor re-disclosure process and corresponding timeline (3-day TRID timeframe);
๏ƒ˜ Prepare Change of Circumstance form(s) (COC) and send required COC and any applicable disclosures (LE and State Required Documents) to appropriate parties (Borrower and/or Loan Officer (if applicable);
๏ƒ˜ Ensure all parties requiring said disclosure documents are in receipt thereof;
๏ƒ˜ Address any calls, emails, messages or questions related to the redisclosure process;
๏ƒ˜ Complete other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

๏ƒ˜ High School diploma or equivalent required;
๏ƒ˜ At least three (3) years of prior experience in the mortgage lending industry;
๏ƒ˜ Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
๏ƒ˜ Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;
๏ƒ˜ Have an ability to multi-task;
๏ƒ˜ Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

๏ƒ˜ A Bachelorโ€™s Degree from an accredited college or university;
๏ƒ˜ Understanding of current mortgage industry-related regulatory law a plus;
๏ƒ˜ At least five (5) years of prior experience in the mortgage banking industry with at least (2) years of experience serving in a disclosure position a plus;
๏ƒ˜ Knowledge of Encompass 360 LOS a plus.
