This dynamic role is a blend of 70% technical estimating and 30% customer-facing sales, making it ideal for those who excel at both problem-solving and building relationships.

Main tasks:

  • Technical Estimating & Solutions Development: Prepare technical estimates, quotations, and solutions for traction power substation and electrified rail applications.
  • Customer Collaboration: Engage directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions and presentations while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Product Expertise: Provide support on DC and AC products, including:
    • DC switchgear, high-speed breakers, and panels
    • Rectifiers, power converters, and voltage limiting devices
    • Multi-function protection relays and custom electro-mechanical solutions
  • Sales Strategy: Develop a strategic business plan to build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities, and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Financial Analysis: Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and stay informed on market trends.
