Summary

The Automotive Electronics master technician will perform software updates, replace components, and test automotive electronic modules to ensure complete repair on the latest electronic technologies. With the ability to understand root cause analysis, quality reporting, vehicle network communication, log scripts, and assist with developing technical training.

Hours are M-F 8:30-5:30 This is an onsite position only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interface with the customerโ€™s regarding service processes and technical requirements.
  • Advanced production management knowledge.
  • Assist in developing technical training for all levels of technicians to improve skills and circuit knowledge.โ€ฏ
  • Use proper soldering and desoldering techniques and be familiar with the proper use and care of test equipment.
  • Knowledge of quality system principles.
  • Suggest and implement processes and profitability improvements
  • Identify, create, and track problem solving summaries.
  • Assist with departmental reporting functions.
  • Promote and adhere to United Radioโ€™s Core Values.
  • Comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Education and/or experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Trade school or college, or equivalent experience in the military, or on the job preferred.
