We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual National and Local Sales Assistant to support our sales team in a fast-paced media environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, multitasking, client service, and supporting revenue-driving initiatives across radio and digital platforms.


Position Summary

The National and Local Sales Assistant provides administrative and operational support to Account Executives and Sales Managers across national and local advertising accounts. This position plays a key role in the execution of advertising campaigns, sales presentations, client communication, and internal coordination between departments including traffic, promotions, finance, and digital operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.


Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Campaign Support
  • Assist Account Executives and Sales Managers throughout the sales process from proposal to campaign execution and recap
  • Enter and revise sales orders in WideOrbit and related systems
  • Coordinate contracts, invoices, spot times, airchecks, and campaign recaps
  • Assist with make-goods, pre-empt management, and order revisions
  • Support preparation of sales materials, presentations, and client proposals
  • Maintain accurate client records, sales databases, calendars, and distribution lists
Client & Internal Coordination
  • Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding copy, approvals, billing, scheduling, and campaign logistics
  • Coordinate with Traffic and Digital Traffic teams to ensure timely delivery of creative assets and campaign execution
  • Work with Credit and Billing departments to facilitate approvals and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide bilingual support and translation assistance for sales materials and client communication when needed
Promotions & Events
  • Support station promotions, client activations, and events using vCreative and internal systems
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating team or client events
Reporting & Administrative Support
  • Compile audience ratings data, research insights, and market information for presentations
  • Create and format reports, spreadsheets, and sales tracking documents using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Conduct client and industry research to support sales initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support including phones, filing, and document management
  • Collaborate with other Sales Assistants and provide team coverage as needed

QualificationsRequired
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
  • 2+ years of administrative, sales support, media, or related experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
Preferred
  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in radio, media, advertising, or broadcast sales environments
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit, vCreative, or similar sales/media platforms
  • Experience creating presentations and analyzing sales or audience data
