Description

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager or Operations Manager, this position manages the day-to-day operations in the RV Resort.

Requirements

Responsible for the following areas:

  • Takes reservations and register overnight campground guests in person, over the phone or by email.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and manage the store multi-line phone system.
  • Input customer data into customer management system.
  • Provide customers with company information, store hours, and answer general questions.
  • Conduct general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, copying.
  • Fills propane bottles and motorhome propane tanks
  • Other duties assigned by management.
  • Distributes messages to guests and prepares upcoming event flyers
  • Light cleaning of office
  • Reliable and strong work ethic. Professional appearance is a must.
  • Able to walk, stand, and sit for periods of time to inspect the RV Park.
  • Able to work independently. 
  • Work shifts may include weekends and holidays.
  • Lead, through subordinate staff, and participate in the effective management of RV Resort operations to maximize financial performance while upholding quality, safety and sanitation standards and maximizing levels of guest satisfaction.
  •  Participate in regular staff meetings as directed and organize, arrange, and conduct employee meetings for subordinate positions on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that scheduling of RV Resort staff is completed in a timely manner using best business practices to obtain maximum labor efficiencies without adversely affecting guest service, guest and employee safety and comfort. 
  • Track attendance and approve payroll for RV Resort staff. 
  • Maintain inventory control of office/RV Resort supplies.
  • Train and provide positive recognition and/or counsel to RV Resort staff. Assist in the oversight of all departmental matters. 
  • Fully understand and assist in compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations pertaining to the health, safety, labor and RV Resort requirements of the property and its employees/guests. 
  • Maintains confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests, employees, and company assets.
  • Conducts interviews and recommends applicants for hire.
  • Makes recommendations for disciplinary action, prepares, and presents disciplinary and coaching documentation as needed.
  • Knowledgeable of all property departmental policies regarding personnel, and report all violations of Company policies/rules/procedures.
  • Writes and assists with RV Resort employee performance reviews to ensure effectiveness, objectivity, and employee compliance.
  • Be a leader and a role model to all employees.
  • Works with the Human Resources department to ensure a productive, participative, and comfortable work environment in which all employees are valued and treated lawfully and consistently. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment and labor law regulations. Directly facilitates open employee communications to discern grievances, and to respond to these grievances in all appropriate manners, including redressing meriting correction.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction is consistently obtained and maintained.
