Position Summary

The Room Service Server is responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and professionalism. This role ensures food and beverage orders are accurately processed, prepared for delivery, and served promptly to guest rooms.

The Room Service Server works closely with the culinary and restaurant teams to ensure order accuracy, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and provide genuine hospitality throughout each guest interaction. This position also supports the oversight of hotel amenities and contributes to maintaining luxury service standards across all guest touchpoints.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverage orders promptly to guest rooms while ensuring presentation and service standards are met.
  • Accurately record and process guest orders using the hotel's phone system and POS system.
  • Set up trays and service carts according to hotel specifications and guest preferences.
  • Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways promptly and discreetly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, storage areas, and service equipment.
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu offerings and provide recommendations when appropriate.
  • Follow established cash handling and payment processing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and restaurant teams to ensure timely service and order accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Monitor and assist with hotel amenities to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Deliver service that reflects The Westgate Hotel's commitment to excellence in hospitality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.

Qualifications
