Title: Rating Marketing Support – Shared Services 

Work Mode: Fully Remote| Location/Supporting: Longwood, FL office | Experience: Previous commercial lines experience. Previous commercial rating experience. License highly preferred.

About the Role: The Rating & Marketing Support role is a mid-level position within IOA’s Shared Services team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality rating and marketing support to agents and account teams across IOA locations. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, technically proficient, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a commercial lines background. This position offers opportunities for professional development and career growth while contributing to IOA’s mission and values. 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support Agents and Teams: Deliver rating and marketing support to agents and account teams across IOA locations. 

  • Quote and Bind Coverage: Provide quotes and bind new business and endorsements through multiple carriers. 

  • Carrier Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters through frequent and professional communication. 

  • Carrier Updates: Stay informed on changes in carrier appetite, coverage options, billing procedures, and system enhancements. 

  • Marketing Strategy: Research and apply marketing solutions tailored to client and carrier needs. 

  • Internal Guidance: Assist internal teams with coverage, documentation, and procedures to ensure accurate business placement. 

  • Rate and Remarket: Accurately rate new business, remarket renewal accounts, and process endorsements. 

  • Proposal Knowledge: Maintain working knowledge of proposal formats and expectations. 

  • Process Improvement: Create and implement procedures to enhance rating and marketing efficiency. 

  • Sales Support: Identify and act on opportunities to support business growth. 

  • Performance Monitoring: Track individual productivity, quality, and service standards, and take corrective action when needed. 

  • Team Collaboration: Provide back-up support to teammates to ensure consistent service excellence. 

  • Professional Development: Participate in training, mentoring, and ongoing development opportunities. 

  • Skill Enhancement: Continuously improve professional skills through internal and external learning. 

  • Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
