We are Worldwide AND we are American Made. We are Kronospan. Main duties and responsibilities A Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for safely organizing their job duties to achieve the production and finishing needs of the Particleboard Plant.

The QC Coordinator helps with quality issues on both production lines and the sanding department to ensure a quality product. The QC Coordinator reports directly to the Technical Director and interacts with the Production Superintendent, Safety Coordinator, Shipping Superintendent, Maintenance Department, Purchasing Agent, and hourly employees to provide for an efficient and safe plant operation. Perform all Lab duties safely; including Physical Properties testing, Wet Chemistry, Outdoor duties, etc.

Direct supervision of their assigned hourly crew while covering the shift supervisor to ensure safe manufacturing of the maximum amount of particleboard safely at a consistent high quality standard, with a minimum of costs, and with increased productivity per worker hour. Oversees general operation of the production and finishing processes with a major focus on compliance with respect to employee safety (lockout procedures, confined space SOP's, etc.) and environmental rules. Requirements - A college degree in Wood Science is desired

- Experience in wood products manufacturing with supervisor/leadership capabilities. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
