Headquartered in McPherson, Kansas, McPherson Concrete Companies (MCC) include Wichita Concrete Pipe, Inc., McPherson Concrete Products, Inc., McPherson Concrete Storage Systems, Inc., and DFW Concrete Products. Together, we are a leading Midwest provider of concrete pipe, precast products, storage systems, and ready-mix concrete. Wichita Concrete Pipe, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician join our Quality Control Program at our Wichita, KS location. This position will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with NPCA, PCI, and requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily production inspections and material testing
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QC standards
  • Maintain accurate QC records, reports, and certifications
  • Assist in administering project-specific QC programs
  • Serve as the point of contact for audits and inspections
  • Coordinate with production and management to resolve quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience in concrete or precast quality control
  • Knowledge of ACPA, PCI, and KDOT requirements

Preferred / Future Certifications
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
  • PCI Level I QC Tech or ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
