The QA/QC Document Control Manager I provides overall management to the project document control requirements. Oversees the development and maintenance of project document system in accordance with client requirements. Ability to read and comprehend project specifications, submittals, and construction drawings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: A high school diploma or GED or An Associates Degree
Experience: Three to five years of administrative experience
Preferred Experience: Five years of administrative experience or three years field experience in construction trades
Travel: Up to 25%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages, maintains, and organizes project Quality and Commissioning document filing structure.
  • Coordinates the flow of documents between project Preconstruction Managers, engineering, Quality and Commissioning, field construction team, and other departments.
  • Maintains document control standards including version control.
  • Assists in the creation of process documentation with the assistance of process and site subject matter experts.
  • Performs clerical typing duties to generate/update documents, as necessary.
  • Manages the timely distribution of latest revision level documentation.
  • Updates and maintains project document control programs and software.
  • Coordinates the development and distribution of project checklists, reports, and databases with the support of other Quality and Commissioning and document control team members.
  • Utilizes company software to generate and update project reports, checklists, and other documents as required by the project.
  • Manages the timely completion of project Quality and Commissioning documentation upload in project systems.
  • Assists the project team with maintaining documents and project closeout.
  • Assists in the creation of process documentation with the assistance of process and site subject matter experts.
  • Proofreads newly created documents for grammatical errors and proper formatting.
  • Verify equipment/asset naming aligns with current construction drawings.
  • Engages in all aspects of process improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
