Position Overview

Mariana Minerals is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support document management activities for complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.

The ideal candidate will maintain accurate control, distribution, and archiving of engineering, construction, and inspection documentation while ensuring compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

This role supports project execution by ensuring timely availability, traceability, and integrity of project documentation across multidisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control engineering, construction, and inspection documentation for large-scale EPC project activities.
  • Maintain document registers, transmittals, and revision tracking systems.
  • Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate document submissions between engineering teams, contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Control issuance and distribution of drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical documents.
  • Track document status including reviews, approvals, and revisions.
  • Support QA/QC documentation requirements and audit readiness.
  • Maintain electronic and physical document archives in accordance with company and project standards.
  • Assist project teams in retrieving controlled documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with project document control procedures and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing engineering, construction, and inspection documents within a complex EPC environment.
  • Strong understanding of document lifecycle management and revision control processes.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar document management systems (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Prior experience supporting mining, industrial, infrastructure, or large capital projects.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical documentation workflows.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC documentation processes.
  • Experience developing and improving document management practices and systems.
