Title of Position: Restaurant Purchasing Manager


Job Responsibilities: The Restaurant Purchasing Manager manages and directs daily food and beverage purchases to obtain the best products at the best pricing, review contracts, obtain rebates, maintain positive vendor relations, and develop and test new menu items. The Restaurant Purchasing Manager must develop new menu items as well as evaluate and upgrade current menu offerings as needed. Develop new items that will have widespread appeal, as well as be a profitable item for the company.

Qualifications:

· The Restaurant Purchasing Manager must possess strong knowledge of food, methods of food preparation, alcoholic beverages, trends in both food and alcoholic beverages, and help develop menus from this knowledge
